On October 24, 2025, BNUBS held a tea party for high - quality students from Jiangxi in Conference Room 9406 of Jingshi Building. Niu Xiaoyou, Associate Director of the School Admissions Office, Jiang Jie, Associate Leader of the Jiangxi Admissions Group and Associate Dean of the School, Xu Xing and Yang Haijia, Secretaries of the Jiangxi Admissions Group, and more than 40 students from Jiangxi gathered together to discuss growth and offer good suggestions in a warm atmosphere.

Associate Director Niu Xiaoyou gave a message to the students, emphasizing the need to make "three connections": First, connect students with the School. She called on students to establish a sense of ownership, deeply bind their personal development with the School's construction, take the initiative to offer suggestions for the admissions work, and become the "spokespersons" of the School. Second, connect various disciplines. She emphasized that interdisciplinary subjects are the key to coping with the development of the times, and encouraged students to make full use of high - quality resources such as the library to broaden their knowledge boundaries and consolidate their academic foundation. Third, connect personal growth with national development. She suggested that students formulate their own growth and development plans based on the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the 15th Five - Year Plan. At the same time, she sincerely invited students to participate in the activities of the Admissions Office and the Admissions Team to provide vivid references for the optimization of the admissions work from the perspective of those who have experienced it.

In the communication session, the students shared their feelings about their schoolwork and campus life since they entered the School. At the same time, combined with their own experiences of participating in the admissions promotion activities, they put forward specific suggestions to the School and the Jiangxi Admissions Group. The students pointed out that the week after the college entrance examination results are released is a key window period for admissions promotion, and it is recommended to strengthen the promotion intensity during this period. In view of the current situation of the improvement of the cultivation ability of high - quality students in many places in Jiangxi, they put forward the idea of further expanding the admissions coverage in prefecture - level cities. The on - site interaction was candid and enthusiastic, fully demonstrating the sense of responsibility and depth of thinking of the students from Jiangxi.

She clearly stated that the school would systematically sort out and absorb reasonable suggestions such as the optimization of the promotion time and the expansion of the regional coverage, and transform them into specific work measures. For the follow - up work, she issued an initiative: She hoped that the students would take the opportunity of returning home during the winter vacation to actively build a communication bridge between Beijing Normal University and their hometown middle schools, help improve the School's popularity and influence in Jiangxi, and let more students from Jiangxi understand the educational characteristics and development platform of Beijing Normal University.

The students' insightful opinions have provided valuable ideas for optimizing the admissions strategy in the Jiangxi region. The School will continue to implement the suggestions and improve the mechanism in the follow - up, further unblock the interaction channels in the source areas, and inject new impetus into the school - local talent cultivation.
