On the evening of October 25, 2025, the 49th lecture of the "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall" of BNUBS, titled "Two - Dimensional Collaboration in Digital Transformation: Enterprises' Challenge Response and the Symbiosis of Personal Value", was held in the lecture hall of the Electronic Building. The lecture was specially invited by Zhao Liang, Vice President of Visa Company and General Manager of the Consulting and Data Analysis Business in the Greater China Region, to be the keynote speaker. Teacher Chen Su from BNUBS presided over the lecture, and more than 150 undergraduate, master's and doctoral students from the School attended.

Mr. Zhao first pointed out that under the impact of the subprime mortgage crisis, digital technology has started to differentiate and reshape the pattern in the difficult stage, leading a new round of the business era. The global investment in IT has strong growth resilience, which improves the process effectiveness of the company. From the enterprise dimension, he explained several reasons for digital transformation, including the need to enhance global competitiveness in the complex macro - environment. Mr. Zhao took the core system transformation of a large - scale state - owned joint - stock bank many years ago as an example to verify that the transformation - brought changes in concepts and talent cultivation promoted the rapid development of the entire enterprise. By introducing the digital transformation process of a liquor enterprise, he explained the significance of transformation in the consumer goods industry and emphasized the importance of changing the thinking mode of employees. Subsequently, Mr. Zhao started from the personal dimension and pointed out that personal development should be reshaped in the transformation to achieve personal digital empowerment.
