On the evening of October 18, 2025, the 48th lecture of the "Digital Economy and Management Lecture Hall" of BNUBS, titled "The Integration and Development of Artificial Intelligence and the Digital Cultural Industry", was held in the lecture hall of the Electronic Building. The lecture was specially invited by Du Jia, the executive director and general manager of Beijing Chinese Online Reading Education Technology Co., Ltd. to be the keynote speaker. Zhou Jianghua, the Director of the MBA Education Center, presided over the lecture, and more than 150 undergraduate, master's and doctoral students from the School attended.

Mr. Du first emphasized the continuous integration of artificial intelligence and the digital cultural industry. He introduced the iterative improvement of AI technology, the global competition situation, and the core dimensions of AI development. Next, he introduced how AI technology drives the new transformation of the digital cultural industry from three aspects: liberating content productivity, stimulating strong data demand, and creating new content products. He pointed out that with the assistance of AI, the production efficiency of digital content is improved, the production cost is reduced, and efficient production can be achieved. The integration with artificial intelligence has almost penetrated into the entire industrial chain of the digital cultural industry, specifically manifested in content creation, production, dissemination and marketing, consumption and experience. Mr. Du expounded the profound impacts of the integration of artificial intelligence and the digital cultural industry, including stimulating cultural innovation vitality, giving birth to new business forms and business models, etc.; at the same time, he also deeply explained the challenges and risks therein, such as copyright and ethical issues, homogenization, and impacts on the employment structure. Looking to the future, Mr. Du talked about the development trends of the integration of artificial intelligence and the digital cultural industry, as well as its core challenges and relevant policy responses.

Finally, Mr. Du showed the innovations in content, form and technology of Chinese Online Group empowered by AI, and specifically introduced the new momentum brought by artificial intelligence to the industry with examples such as AI anchors, creative large - models, and AI comics. After the lecture, Mr. Du also actively interacted and communicated with the students, answering their questions.

Mr. Du's wonderful speech benefited the students present a lot. The lecture introduced the continuous integration and development of artificial intelligence and the digital cultural industry, showed the transformation of the digital cultural industry driven by AI, and enabled the students to deeply understand the application innovation and future trends of large - models in the digital cultural industry. This lecture ended successfully amidst the warm applause of the teachers and students.
