Qi Yudong first announced the adjustment of the leadership division of responsibilities within the School. He introduced the newly appointed teachers and, on behalf of the School, extended warm congratulations to four faculty members who have been approved for national-level talent programs since the start of this year. Qi emphasized that the meeting was specifically held to discuss the formulation of the School’s "15th Five-Year Plan" (2026–2030). He urged all teachers to attach great importance to this task, thoroughly summarize the achievements and challenges during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, and actively put forward suggestions to provide a solid basis for defining the School’s development goals, key construction tasks, and implementation measures for the next five years.

Associate Dean Hu Conghui reported on the progress and work arrangement of the "15th Five-Year Plan" formulation. In line with the university’s overall deployment, the School has established a special drafting team to conduct in-depth discussions on key areas including Party building, talent cultivation, discipline development and scientific research, faculty team building, internationalization, and administrative support. The next step will involve university-wide discussions and opinions solicitation to ensure the plan is both forward-looking and practically feasible.

Party Secretary Sun Zhijun briefed attendees on the School’s recent key work trends, covering Party building, system construction, talent cultivation, personnel management, discipline development and scientific research, financial management, and campus space planning. Sun noted that the "15th Five-Year Plan" is the overall blueprint for the School’s development over the next five years. He stressed the need to combine goal-oriented and problem-oriented approaches, build consensus, deepen reforms, and promote new breakthroughs in discipline construction, talent cultivation, and international cooperation. He called on all faculty and staff to stand firm in their positions, work together for development, and contribute wisdom and strength to the School’s high-quality development.

Following the meeting, all faculty and staff were divided into five groups to conduct enthusiastic discussions on various parts of the "15th Five-Year Plan."
